BES Student Council makes Memory Boxes to Woodbury Senior Living

In speaking with an employee at the Woodbury Senior Living, she let me know about this post on their Facebook page, and I wanted to share this with our Bailey family! We are so proud of our Student Council and what they are doing for our school and community. This was such a great hit with the residents that they plan to encourage family members and residents to do this again!

Memory Boxes made by Bailey Elementary Student Council Members.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE this...Ms. Michelle Seliga, 4th-grade teacher & her Bailey Elementary Students made these most beautiful memory boxes, & oozing out of the boxes fostered such love & topics to reminisce. How delightful - these students put so much thought into this meaningful project & it brought such joy from our residents, & staff who shared them.

Their faces are priceless.

We are proud of our students at Bailey Elementary. I hope they are proud of themselves - beautiful work.

Over the next 10 years, more than 3,500 potential new K-12 students are expected to move into SoWashCo Schools. To accommodate this growth, SoWashCo Schools has unveiled a 10-year facility package. See how the plan will impact our school and learn more at sowashco.org/facilityplanning.

Volunteering at Bailey

Volunteering at Bailey

For 3rd trimester, we may be looking at the possibility of scheduling a field trip or potential in classroom volunteers. For volunteer possibilities please connect directly with your child's teacher. All volunteers must complete an application, and most will need to complete an updated background check. All volunteers at SoWashCo Schools must now apply online. You can create your new SoWashCo Schools volunteer profile online here and complete an updated background check.

Filling volunteer opportunities must be done with a pre-arranged appointment. All volunteers are expected to sign-in using the school visitor management system (Raptor™) upon arriving. For more information about district volunteer handbook, please visit: https://www.sowashco.org/get-involved/volunteer

Visitors

Visitors

As we move into 3rd trimester, though we are relaxing protocols within the school, we are still continuing to monitor the amount of visitors on a daily basis. If you have a pre-arranged appointment with a staff member or you need to stop by the office, we welcome you into the building. However at this time, we do not have availability for family members to eat lunch with their child or walk their child to class.
