SEEKING ASSISTANCE WITH OUR SUBSTITUTE SHORTAGE
We are asking all interested and available Red Rock community members to apply to be a teacher and/or paraprofessional substitute. We are currently experiencing a concerning shortage of substitutes for both teachers and paraprofessionals at Red Rock. When we do not get coverage, we have to move people around, collapse classrooms so classes are split up amongst grade level teachers and it creates many challenges.
If you have the time and are available to help us, we would be so grateful! Please know that we are even appreciative of individuals able to help for half of the day if that is all that one is able to help with.
Substitute Teacher License: Completion of four year degree in any field
Substitute Paraprofessional: High school Diploma
Here are the links for applying:
Thank you for your consideration!
Kindness Week (October 11-15)
Last week our students participated in Kindness Week. The following were the activities that students did:
Kickoff to Kindness week: Bookmarks were given to all students.
Kindness in Chalk Day
Unity Day: Students wore orange to show we unite against bullying
We are all unique! Students wore something that showed what made them unique!
Duck Tape Pledge:
Students pledged to be kind and stick together: *Stop hurtful teasing and encourage others to do the same. *Do my part to make my school a safe place by being kinder to others. *Not let my words or actions hurt others. *Treat others the way I want to be treated.
